DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF BLDC MOTOR SPEED CONTROL USING CUK CONVERTER
Abstract
Due to the ubiquity and abundance of solar energy, solar photovoltaic systems produce an intriguing source of energy. The so-called PV technology has received attention in recent years as one of the most cutting-edge technologies among the several renewable energy sources. The PV system, Cuk Converter, and Brushless (BLDC) motor concepts are highlighted in the proposed work. in order to improve efficiency while reducing voltage and current ripples. The utilisation of renewable energy sources as the primary energy source is a result of recent developments worldwide. Although there are several renewable energy sources, the photovoltaic system seems to have the most promise. This is due to the fact that it immediately transforms solar energy into electrical energy and is environmentally friendly in nature. This work describes BLDC motor speed control with solar energy as the primary energy source. The voltage needed to run the motor is increased using the boost converter. Uncontrollable speed is managed by a controller.
