Abstract
As computer technology evolves at a breathtaking pace, coupled with the explosion of data communication and networking capabilities, there has been a spectacular rise in the global adoption of applications that enable the seamless sharing and transfer of information across a variety of communication devices. As a result, the importance of information and network security has surfaced as a crucial domain of study, necessitating thorough academic exploration and actionable solutions to protect sensitive data in an ever-more interconnected landscape. This paper aims to clearly illuminate the complex concept of information security, while also highlighting the myriad types of breaches, vulnerabilities, and threats that challenge computer networks and the extensive field of information protection.
